I explained what I was hoping to achieve, and she took the time to offer her input based on my hair type and daily routine, which is something I really value in a stylist. She listened to what I wanted while also making thoughtful recommendations that worked for me. I left so happy with my haircut and couldn’t be more pleased with the results. Honestly, I never leave bad reviews but I felt like I needed to this time. I am very disappointed with the end result and the experience overall. I arrived for my 10am appointment, which was for a full highlight. I’ve had this done many times over the years and it’s never taken more than 3-3.5 hours. I left the salon on my own accord with half of my hair still wet at almost 3pm - almost 5 hours after I arrived - because I had to in order to attend a meeting I thought I had plenty of clearance for when scheduling this appointment at 10am. I was the first appointment of the day, so there’s no room to blame other clients for causing delays. I was pawned off to an assistant when the stylist’s next client arrived because “he had to be somewhere soon” - I can handle that. But before said assistant came over, I was forced to sit there for quite some time with a soaking wet head of hair, tailbone hurting, and a real need to get out of there for a meeting at 3pm, while said assistant supported another client. When the stylist finally told the assistant to attend to me, I realized how slow the blow drying process was going to take given the pace she was going - all up against the clock. She must’ve spent 10 min blow drying one section of hair - and my hair is not thick. At that point, I knew I had to say something. It was uncomfortable to have to be in that position and it’s unacceptable. No one offered a discount. No one seemed to care that had I not left when I did, I would’ve been there for 6 hours in order to leave with what should’ve taken max 3.5 hours, and in order to leave with what I came for and ultimately paid for, and at the very least to leave with a full head of dry hair. I have fine, medium length hair. No extensions. Nothing extra. There’s no excuse. I didn’t have time to deal with this while there given the circumstances. I won’t be going back.

Being from out of town and totally taking a chance on a new salon can be a little unsettling but from the moment I opened the door I felt welcomed. I am here because my first grandchild decided to make an entrance into the world almost three weeks early. Sierra was able to fit me in for a haircut and she was delightful and listened to what I wanted. Sierra gave me the best haircut I have had in years and made me look and feel like a whole new person!! This grandma is heading back to Ohio but I will definitely be back and recommending all my friends and family in Charleston, Hanahan, Summerville area to go to the Fox Den!!!

From blowout to curly cut I have been ridiculously impressed! Sierra is so fun and has amazing skill for all the curly queens out there. I’m mixed with solid 3B hair (iykyk) and she blew it out super straight and silky the first time I saw her and this time gave my curls beautiful volume without taking away too much length with my first curly cut! I’m so glad I’ve found a curly stylist so close to park circle!

Siarra was awesome! As soon as I walked in she beige comfort and bubbly energy. I had 2 curly cuts before and this was by far the best experience as well as best priced. She brought a lot of new knowledge about my hair pattern, products that will benefit as well as new techniques to style my hair. Love her and I can’t wait to come back!

Went for a long overdue haircut and Sierra did a fabulous job. My daughter came in to talk with the salon about a color correction and they came up with a plan to get her hair back to a natural color for prom. First step of color correction went great and she is very happy with the results. I really like the vibe of the salon and all of it\'s creatives seem to really like what they do. They take their time, listen, and consult each other for feedback. It was the first time I have experienced a salon where the whole staff seems like one unified team to get the customer the best results. Also I received compliments for days after my haircut! Highly recommended!

Sara was nice. I did appreciate that she asked another stylist for help on my bangs. When I got home I flat ironed my hair just to make sure things were even. There were a few places that were a bit longer than the actual cut. There was quite a big chunk of my bangs that were missed. I had to trim at least 3 inches off so it would line up with my bangs. I initially chose a higher level stylist, but was rescheduled with Sara. I normally avoid stylists that are training because I\'ve had terrible experiences in the past. This experience wasn\'t as bad as I thought it might be, but it definitely could have been better. Sara seems to be training still so I can\'t be too harsh. She did listen to what I said I wanted, but I always look for a professional opinion as well. I didn\'t really get that. I\'ll definitely be back, but I might choose a different stylist until she gets more experience.

I have not had a hair cut I was ever completely satisfied with until I had my first time visit with Siarra at Fox+Den. I had a variation to a style I wanted and she went above and beyond to make it just perfect before my trip to England! Can I give 6 stars?? I was in a bind… had a botched highlight job and was going to an important event the next day. The salon that botched it told me they couldn’t help until the following week. I took a chance and called Fox and Den not even knowing anything about them. Not only did they fit me in immediately, but fixed my hair and made it gorgeous! Shelby and Alena rolled out the red carpet, made me feel welcome, and Shelby worked some quick magic. Highly recommend!
